The sale of this plot of land includes a portion of Public Open Space. This area of Public Open Space is highly valued by local residents and by the wider community of school children and their parents who use this space to play and socialise after school. We propose that the wider County Hall Office site should be reviewed to consider the future of these large buildings (which we understand do not have full occupancy). Rather than selling off this piece of land in isolation, we ask the council to undertake a review to consider the future of the site as a whole and therefore enable the council to make better decisions, both for the local community and in terms of achieving financial gain.
