(a) Maintained Secondary and Special Schools

In accordance with The Parent Governor Representatives (England) Regulations, 2001 a Notice of Poll was sent to all serving Parent Governor Representatives of Maintained Secondary and Special Schools on 8 May 2015 inviting nominations for election to fill the vacancy for a representative of this category of schools on the People s Scrutiny Committee.

The Head of Scrutiny will report on the outcome of this exercise.

12. People s Scrutiny Committee Work Programme and Council/Cabinet Forward Plan

In accordance with previous practice, the Committees is requested to review the list of forthcoming business (previously circulated) and to determine which items are to be included in the Work Programme. The Work Programme is also available on the County Council's website at:

The Committee may also wish to review the content of the Council/Cabinet Forward Plan (available at http://new.devon.gov.uk/democracy/how-the-council-works/forward-plan/) to see if there are any specific items therein it might wish to explore further.

Emergencies

In the event of the fire alarm sounding, leave the building immediately by the nearest available exit, following the fire exit signs. If doors fail to unlock press the Green breakglass next to the door. Do not stop to collect personal belongings, do not use the lifts, do not re-enter the building until told to do so.
