I am also the Chair of the Council’s Cabinet, and I’m responsible for the decisions the Cabinet makes about your local services. My role includes:
- Appointing a Cabinet and leading it
- Setting strategy and performance
- Make executive decisions that are not made by other Cabinet Members or officers
- Working with Cabinet and other Committees to develop Council policies and delivery of quality public services.
As an Elected Member
I have been elected as a County Councillor for the electoral division of Hatherleigh & Chagford. I intend to serve the interests of all residents, regardless of political persuasion.
I am, however, a member of the Conservative Party and take an active interest in a number of national and local campaigns.
