Additional Information
I have been elected as a County Councillor for the electoral division of Bideford East. I intend to serve the interests of all residents, regardless of political persuasion.
I am, however, a member of the Conservative Party and take an active interest in a number of national and local campaigns. It would not be appropriate for me to use this website to promote these campaigns though you can visit related external websites by selecting some of the links to be found on these pages.
I wanted to give something back to society and to serve my local area. As a local resident I will strive to represent the people of Bideford East, whether in the town or surrounding villages, and will do my best to serve all constituents, whether they voted for me or not.
My priorities are to protect the AONB’s and ensure future development is appropriate and sympathetic and the correct infrastructure is provided in order to protect local services such as schools etc.
Pavement and road maintenance is also a top priority as the safety of our roads is essential to our community.
I will also be lobbying to protect NHS services and support our local schools which are significantly underfunded when compared to other parts of the Country.
