This decision will be taken under urgency procedures.

Reason for urgency:
In line with the Council’s Constitution and the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012, I am seeking your agreement as Chair of the relevant Scrutiny Committee (Health and Adults Care Scrutiny Committee) to deal with the above matter as an urgent matter (special urgency) at the next Cabinet Meeting on 14 December 2022.

In line with the principles of the Regulations (5(6), 10 and 11) to this matter needs to be dealt with at the above meeting, but the required notice has not been given in the Council’s Forward Plan.

The reasons for consideration of this matter are that it was proposed to be encompassed within a separate report at the meeting (already on the plan) but in the interests of openness and transparency, we would prefer for it to be a separate matter on the agenda, so members can ask questions accordingly.
