To approve the minutes of the meeting held on 4^th December 2024.

PROPOSED by Cllr Coker and ALL IN FAVOUR that the minutes of the meeting held on the 4^th December be approved as true to record.

Items which in the opinion of the Chair should be considered at the meeting as matters of urgency.

There were no matters raised as urgent items.

Report of the Technical Director seeking approval to publish the SIP document for public consultation.

The Board heard that the SIP has been developed to set out regional priorities for investment. It is intended to act as a ‘live document’ that can be used to respond to specific calls for schemes, such as the DfT’s invitation to STBs to submit bids for the Major Road Network (MRN) scheme funding in 2018. The STB will use the SIP to respond to specific requests for thematic investment funds. E.g. rail resilience investment funds or electric vehicle/zero emission public transport funding opportunities or other ring fenced, specific funds. It was heard that EW would make some minor updates discussed in the meeting, and would circulate the updated SIP on Friday 31^st January. Members would then have 24 hours to review and approve. If no response received, it will be assumed approved.

ALL IN FAVOUR that the SIP document is approved by the Board for a 4-week consultation, pending approval of updates to be circulated later this week.
