RESOLVED
(a) that the continuation of the role of Commissioning Liaison Members be supported and that Cabinet formally welcomes the contribution their role brings, notwithstanding their appointment is a matter for individual Scrutiny Committees;
(b) that social value and carbon reduction principles form an embedded part in commissioning and procurement activity and is encompassed in both procurement strategy and processes; and
(c) the templates that are used to aid identifying and acting on social value and carbon reduction opportunities be welcomed and the current recruitment process for a Carbon Officer to further develop and promote social value and carbon reduction with services, suppliers and partners be supported.
