(Councillors Biederman, Cann and Greenslade each declared a personal interest in this matter by virtue of being members of North Devon Council. Councillor Cann also declared a personal interest in this matter by virtue of his son being employed by the developers of the Mount Sandford site, Barnstaple and withdrew from the meeting during consideration of that development. Councillor Greenslade also declared a personal interest in this matter by virtue of his children living adjacent to the Roundswell link road. Councillors Edgell, Fowler and Yabsley each declared a personal interest in this matter by virtue of being members of North Devon Council s Planning Committee. Councillor Spear declared a personal interest in this matter by virtue of being a member of North Devon Council s Executive)
The Committee received a presentation from the Head of Planning, Transportation Environment:
outlining the basis of the proposed response by the County Council to the consultation by North Devon Council on the draft North Devon Local Plan;
showing the areas of Barnstaple where transport infrastructure improvements were considered necessary and identifying problems and solutions.
COUNCILLOR FOWLER IN THE CHAIR DURING CONSIDERATION OF THE MOUNT SANDFORD DEVELOPMENT
The Head of Planning, Transportation Environment undertook to reflect the points raised and matters discussed in his formal response to the consultation.
