A meeting of the East Devon Highways and Traffic Orders Committee will be held on the above date at 9am at the Council Offices, Knowle, Sidmouth to consider the following matters.

MATTERS FOR DECISION

6. Blackhorse Lane to Clyst Honiton: Cycle Link

This report seeks approval to a package of works to complete further sections of a walking and cycling route from Exeter, via the new Redhayes Bridge over the M5 motorway, to Clyst Honiton and the new community at Cranbrook.

7. Clyst Honiton to Exeter Airport: Cycle Link

(Page 11). This report seeks approval to a proposed scheme to provide a cycle link from Clyst Honiton to Exeter Airport.

8. Shelly Road, Exmouth

In accordance with Standing Order 23(2), Councillor Eileen Wragg has asked that the Committee considers an update on the adoption of Shelly Road.

9. Exmouth Seafront

In accordance with Standing Order 23(2), Councillor Eileen Wragg has asked that the Committee considers an update on camper vans parking on Exmouth Seafront.

10. Coronation Corner, Axmouth (item requested by Axmouth Parish Council)

In accordance with Standing Order 23(2), Councillor Jim Knight has asked that the Committee considers supporting a project to improve safety for pedestrians at Coronation Corner in Axmouth.

The proposal, which has been drawn up by DCC Highways, for the linking and improvement of the footway from the Village Hall to Coronation Corner, will enable pedestrians to walk safely on footways from Axmouth village to Seaton

Funding from the DCC Highways department budget is unavailable, but the Parish Council intend to put this project forward under the Local Project Fund of DCC.

Any member of the public resident in the administrative area of the County of Devon may make a presentation on any proposed traffic order being considered by the Committee. Any request to make a presentation must be given to the Office of the Chief Executive, County Hall, Exeter by 12 noon on the third working day before the relevant meeting.
