A meeting of the West Devon Highways and Traffic Orders Committee will be held on the above date at 11.00am at the Offices of West Devon Borough Council, Kilworthy Park, Drake Road, Tavistock PL19 0BZ to consider the following matters.

3. Items Requiring Urgent Attention

Items which in the opinion of the Chairman should be considered at the meeting as matters of urgency.

4. LTP Programme

Cabinet previously approved a three year Local Transport Plan Integrated Block programme in December 2011. This programme is now being revised to reflect changing circumstances such as scheme slippage and the need to match fund key bids for new central government funding. A revised programme for 2013/14 and 2014/15 will be submitted to Cabinet in April 2013 and reported to the next available Highways and Traffic Orders Committee.

6. Request for Controlled Pedestrian Crossing, A386 Horrabridge

Report of the Head of Highways and Traffic Management (HTM/13/36 - text only | pdf HTM/13/36) (Page 11). This report summarises the observed traffic flows on the A386 and references these to assessments of criteria relating to the provision of crossing facilities for pedestrians.

8. Dates of Future Meetings

The Committee to note the dates of the following meetings:

4 June (Okehampton), 6 November (Tavistock) 2013 and 20 March (Okehampton) 2014.

Meetings will start at 11.00 am and alternate between Kilworthy House Tavistock and Town Council Offices Okehampton.
