*1 Election of Chairman and Vice-Chairman

RESOLVED that Councillor Marsh and Councillor Sanders be elected Chairman and Vice-Chairman respectively for the ensuing year.

*2 Future Meetings

(a) The Committee noted that the next meeting was due to be held on Thursday 17 September 2009 at 11am at the offices of Okehampton Town Council, Okehampton, although the actual day on which the following future meetings were held may need to be reviewed in the light of Member availability.

(b) Members also expressed a wish for officer reports to a future meeting on the Whitchurch Gateway and the decline in the use and numbers of County Lengthsmen.
