RESOLVED that Councillor Parsons be elected Chairman for the ensuing year.

RESOLVED that Councillor Boyle be elected Vice Chairman for the ensuing year.

*3 County Committees

The Community Strategy Officer reported on the role of the Committee including discussion about service and community issues in the district relating to, for example, the arts/culture, partnership working (including the Local Strategic Partnership and Parish Plans), the modernisation programme in Adult and Community Services; improving communication between the County, District and Parish Councils; and to confirm grants awarded by members from their locality budgets.
