RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on 11 July 2013 be signed as

a correct record, subject to recording of apologies from Councillor Swain.

*7 School Place Planning

The Head of Planning, Transportation and Environment outlined the school provision needed (primary, secondary and possible all-through provision) for the development of 2,500 homes in SW Exeter (2000 within Teignbridge and 500 within Exeter) on either side of the A379.

RESOLVED that the matter be deferred for a detailed report to the next meeting (to include educational provision options with cost and transport implications, site constraints and Exeter s needs).

The Committee received the minutes of the meetings held on 26 September 2013 and 14 January 2014.
