A meeting of the Mid Devon Highways and Traffic Orders Committee will be held on the above date at 11.00 am at the Town Hall, Tiverton to consider the following matters.

2. Minutes of the meetings held on 12 March and 18 June 2012 (Page 5).
3. Items Requiring Urgent Attention
Items which in the opinion of the Chairman should be considered at the meeting as a matter of urgency.
4. Petition
Ms Samantha Bussell has a petition to present to the Chairman in relation to a road crossing at Leat Street in Tiverton.
In accordance with the County Council s Petition Scheme the petitioner should receive a letter or email within 15 working days of receipt of the petition indicating how it is planned to deal with it.
5. Wales and West Utilities: Essential Gas Mains Replacement in Gold Street, Tiverton
In accordance with Standing Orders Councillor Kevin Wilson has asked that this item be considered at this meeting. Head of Highways and Traffic Management to report on traffic management arrangements relating to gas main replacement in the centre of Tiverton, programmed to take approximately 10 weeks.

6. Mill Street, Crediton
Head of Highways and Traffic Management to report on a short feasibility study into the potential for a new footway on the west side of Mill Street, which gives a preliminary estimate and examines the method of scheme delivery.

A copy of the presentation will be sent to Members prior to the meeting. Presentation by the Head of Planning, Transportation and Environment on the likely traffic impacts of the extension of the town and possible mitigation measures. A copy will be sent to Members prior to Committee.

8. Progress Report on Crediton and Tiverton Cycle Paths
Head of Highways and Traffic Management to report on the feasibility studies that have been undertaken by consultants and the future programme.
