4. Clinical Commissioning Groups

(a) NHS NEW Devon CCG

A report from NEW Devon CCG on the Community Services Strategic Framework attached at (page 11), together with a copy of the Strategic Framework attached at (page 12). A presentation from Jenny McNeill will support the report.

(b) Shared Ambitions and Priorities

There will be a joint presentation from NEW Devon and NHS England on shared ambitions and priorities. Supporting slides attached at (page 25), of which a small selection will be shown at the meeting.

(c) Primary Care Co-commissioning Letter of Expression

(2.40pm)

A report from NEW Devon CCG on the request from NHS to CCGs to submit expressions of interest to develop new arrangements for co-commissioning of primary care services, attached at (page 89).

(d) NHS South Devon and Torbay CCG

(2.50pm)

A report of the South Devon and Torbay CCG on the Strategic Plan and progress on other issues such as Care Quality Commission, Musculoskeletal Service, Community Hub Developments and the Pioneer Bid, attached at (page 97).

As part of the CCG update, a report will be presented on the CQC National Inpatient Survey 2013, attached at (page 100).

A report of the Strategic Director (People) on draft proposals for the formation of a high level strategic multi-agency Children s Alliance , attached at (page 114).

7. Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment

A report of the Director of Public Health on the statutory duty of the Health and Wellbeing Board to ensure the production of a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment for Devon, attached at (page 119).

Report of the Health and Wellbeing Board Support Officers, which monitors the priorities identified in the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy for Devon 2013-2016, attached at (page 145).

14. Letter from Jane Ellison (MP) Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Health

(4.25pm)

In order to mark first anniversary of the establishment of Health and Wellbeing Boards, Jane Ellison (MP) has written to Boards to thank them for the hard work in improving the local population s health in creative and innovative ways. The letter (attached at page 153) also highlighted some priorities and recent work in and out of Parliament, as well as some of the public health issues that have been of particular interest to parliamentary colleagues in recent months.
