Additional Information
I have been elected as a County Councillor for the electoral division of Tavistock. I intend to serve the interests of all residents, regardless of political persuasion.
I am, however, a member of the Conservative Party and take an active interest in a number of national and local campaigns. It would not be appropriate for me to use this website to promote these campaigns though you can visit related external websites by selecting some of the links to be found on these pages.
I support and sit on the steering group: Tavistock Dementia Action Alliance which helps our market town be more dementia friendly and aware.
Tavistock is the gateway to the Cornish & West Devon Mining World Heritage Site. Many road signs have been removed so that the historic market town looks less cluttered and is also less confusing for residents & visitors.
I have used funds from the County Locality Budget to support local initiatives.
My priorities are supporting the nursing profession, ensuring good training for health professionals, reducing pharmacological waste, safeguarding trees and biodiversity, help establish Tavistock health and wellbeing alliance, local domestic violence drop in, ensure roads and drains are in a good condition, use community payback for improvement works and assisting businesses in Tavistock.
