Delay in reaching a decision would prejudice the Council and its financial sustainability. In accordance with paragraphs 17.8 and 8 of the Scrutiny Procedure and Cabinet Procedure Rules respectively), the call-in procedure shall not apply to this urgent decision on the grounds that any delay likely to be caused by the call-in process would seriously prejudice both the Council’s and service users’ interests.
