Since the width of the pavement has been increased on Station Road Dawlish parking on double yellow lines on this stretch has caused numerous problems including the ability to reverse onto the taxi rank due to obstructions cause by cars parking on the double yellow lines. It also reduces the viability and width of the road for users using the station car park, making the road dangerous. While there was police cones in place for a few weeks it was apparent the road was alot safer should there be no option to park there.
